3 days left

With just over 72 hours left until I leave for San Fransisco to board my flight to Japan it still really isn't sinking in yet just how radically different my life will be in a few short days. Everything is in order I just need to pack. It will be interesting. I will be staying with my host family the Fujiwaras until the end of February at least (the 20th if I recall correctly). The father Kouichi, the mother Nami, and the daughter Kotone. They also have a rabbit named Popo-chan. I also discovered that there will be another American staying there as well, a Daniel Reeves, but I have no information on him, so I'm just hoping for the best.
I really do not know what to expect or think at this point about anything I will soon see, it will be an adventure though. I do have a hotel reserved now about a mile from Narita Airport that I will be departing from, the address is written on a card so I can just asked the taxi driver "Please take me here." (koko ni itte kudsai). I decided not to mess with the trains in Tokyo since I only have 11 hours until my connecting flight leaves for Fukuoka and I'd rather clean up and get some sleep than wander around lost with three bags. My only real plan in Tokyo, at least during this short visit, is to be up in time to watch the sun rise Monday morning, I feel in the Land of the Rising Sun this would be a good way to start my adventure.
